I would also like to mention Good Bears of the World, who coincidentally have an ad on the last page of my article. They are a wonderful organization that provides stuffed friends for children and the elderly who are in need. This year my Girl Scout Brownies(2nd-3rd graders) voted to take a portion of the money they raised selling cookies to help Good Bears of the World. As troop leaders, we decided that instead of just donating money, we would let them have a hands on experience. We took them to Build a Bear, gave them money and let them choose a bear to make for a child or elderly person. It was such an amazing experience for them to have this hands on experience, and know that they were directly helping someone. Anyone who is a volunteer for a group such as girls scouts, and is looking for an excellent charity to help, might want to consider Good Bears of the World. :)

Karen, I am so excited for you! The article looks great. In fact, I had to go out and buy the magazine today because I loved that you and your sweet bears were in it.
Congratulations!
