This is a brand new pattern, and I totally love the way it turned out! After Christmas is over and all of my lovely, colorful decorations are put away, things are a little depressing during the cold winter months. A few years ago I decided to start collecting snowmen that I could leave out during the winter months. They don't come out until after Christmas, and it's so much fun to get them out and decorate.
This cute snowman would be perfect to brighten up your home after the Christmas holiday season is over. You could put him on top of a feather tree with other "winter" decorations, sit him on a shelf or in a cupboard.
"Mr. Snow" measures approx 10" tall. His head is made from mohair. His nose is also mohair that I dyed an orange "carrot" color. Mr. Snow's eyes are old shoe buttons. He securely attached to a heavy cardboard cone base that I covered in a snowman print fabric. His hat is made from an old wool sweater and trimmed in vintage rick a rack. His scarf is red felt. I stamped a canvas tag that says "SNOW"
