His name is Lionel and he is just the sweetest dog!
Please consider adopting my little dog to help give this shelter dog a better life.
Please meet, Lionel. I had to name my little dog in honor of my shelter dogie. Lionel measures approx 9" tall, not including his hat. Lionel is featured in the current Winter 2013 issue of Prims magazine. His pattern is based on my love of antique toys, vintage children's books, and pieces in my own collection. Lionel was created from a sparse European mohair. He has German glass eyes. I have stained and distressed the mohair for an antique look. Lionel's little worn nose is made from cotton floss, that I sanded and waxed. He is stuffed with excelsior. Lionel is wearing one of my custom art rompers. I did a Valentine's Day drawing using high quality fabric markers.
I will also include a copy of the PRIMS article and a photo of the "real" Lionel as a keepsake.
This sweet guy would be perfect for Valentine's Day, in an old chippy cupboard or placed on an old shelf with your Shabby Chic collectibles. :)
