I am so thrilled with my new dogie, and I just wanted to share. Meet Bella, a silky hair Terrier. Bella is a custom order. She was created from 1" mohair. I hand-tinted all of her markings. She is 5 way jointed, and stuffed with excelsior and gravel. She has German glass eyes. 

Bella's owner likes blue and brown together and she loves sunflowers. I think her outfit fits her perfectly! :)

~ a Snowman on eBay..He's a NEW pattern! ~

If you have the time, stop by ebay and take a peek at my new Snowman! He turned out so prim, antique, fun and whimsical. I just love him! He is 5 way jointed and made from mohair. I love to decorate after Christmas with Winter themed items, and Snow folk are perfect. I set up a cute display of different snowmen on my mantle, after the Christmas decorations are packed away. It keeps things bright and cheerful during the cold winter months.

new Primitive bear & Halloween Witch

I have 2 new pieces listed on ebay tonight....I love both of these bears! One is a simple primitive and very grungy bear named "Edward". I love the black with the brown color of the mohair. Edward is the perfect bear, he would be perfect in a Halloween or fall display, then be perfect on an old painted shelf or cupboard. My other bear is a spooky little witch named "Zinnia". She is wearing an old dolls dress that I over dyed to get a wonderful grungy pumpkin color. Can't you just see her out on a full moon, mixing potions and talking to her friend Owl?

Back from Vacation.....

Oh my...I got back last weekend from a fabulous beach vacation. We went someplace new this year, an island is all I can tell you ;), and it was so wonderful. The beach was gorgeous and there were maybe 10-15 other people on the beach during the day!!! It was great! We rode bikes everywhere, went snorkeling and found tons and tons of sea shells. We saw 2 manatees, a sting ray and a huge angel fish. I hope this horrible oil spill does not ruin this beach...it would be a huge loss! I haven't had time to download my pics yet, I've been busy this week trying to get ready for a yard sale. Oh my, I have so much junk it is crazy. Mostly antique stuff that I collected when I used to buy and sell on ebay. Now it's all going. I also had a fun idea while going through all of my stuff, so I set a bunch of stuff aside for some blog give aways coming up soon. I found lots of great fabrics, vintage reader that are perfect for graphics and some other antique type items. So be on the look out the next couple of weeks for that. I'm also trying to get some new bears made and finish some things for magazines.

Since I don't have my vacations photos ready yet, I took some pics of shells that I have collected over the years. I have them in jars and love to decorate with them in the summer. I also took pics of my Americana display. I have it in a corner of my dinning room on a chip n dale desk that my grandmother gave me. I have one of my favorite bears by Sheryl Wells proudly displayed, along with some other favorite items.
