I've titled this piece "Summer Fun"
I design my paintings the way I design my bears. They are done on a stretched canvas, this one measures 11 x 14. I painted the background a nice old sand color, then sanded and distressed it. The bear is a separate piece of canvas. I drew out the bear, then cut her out like a paper doll and glued her to the canvas. I embellished with vintage graphics, glitter, fabric, sea shells and real sand from the beaches of Florida. I stained the entire piece to have an aged look and sprayed it with a light coat of clear sealer. I also painted the edges of the canvas, so this piece is ready to hang.
You can display this mixed media painting on a shelf, in a cabinet or hang it on the wall.
This painting would look great any where and will brighten any room of your home.
Anything else pictured is not included.
