I must admit, I love how this cute girl turned out. Her name is, Noel. She is 15" tall and made from custom dyed mohair. She is wearing a vintage, doll's dress that is just darling! Noel is 5 way jointed and stuffed with excelsior and gravel. She has German glass eyes. I also added a vintage deep green, velvet ribbon to her hair.

Please meet, Abigail. She is a 15" antique style bear. Abigail is made from mohair and stuffed with excelsior and gravel. I have custom dyed her a unique color, by layering the colors. She has antique shoe buttons for eyes. She is wearing an antique, wool baby's sweater. I added old ribbons and a vintage style watch fob with an antique photo inside.

I love to make these bears! They are just so pretty and girly. They are perfect with Shabby chic decor. :) This new bear is on eBay now...she is 10" tall and her name is "Madame Marie". Her dress is a robin's egg blue color with pink cabbage roses (LOVE!) and a fun, festive matching hat. I made her a vintage tag using a dye cut image of a young, Victorian girl.

....a custom order I finished last week. This is one of my "French Fashion Bears". She measures 15" tall and is dyed an orchid color. Her name, of course, is Miss Orchid. She has on a toile print dress with vintage lace trim. I made her a vintage tag using an antique photo. I also made her festive hat.

Sofia is made from mohair and measures 9" tall. She is the perfect size to fit on an old chippy shelf, or snuggled in with other bears or dolls.

~*~ NEW Elephant and Skunk patterns ~*~

I have 2 new patterns to share....first is my new little Elly pattern. I haven't made an Elly in a REALLY long time and this is a new size. This little girl, named "Ophilia Elly", is 9.5" tall. She fits right in the palm of my hand. I love the pale pink and taupe, Shabby Cottage Chic, colors. Wouldn't she be great on an old chippy shelf?

Next is my new skunk pattern...isn't he just the cutest? His name is "Orange Blossom", and he measures a wee 10" tall. Orange Blossom has already been mailed off to his new woodland home, but I still wanted to share.

new Shabby French Fashion bear on ebay....

I have a darling new bear listed on ebay this evening. I can't seem to get a lot accomplished this summer. :) With my children home, I seem to spend all day "doing mommy things"(which is lots of fun) and not accomplishing a lot in my studio. I finally got this sweet girl finished. I love her outfit, it's just so charming. I have more bears I'm trying to finish up, along with some orders, but summer is just so short. I can't say no to evenings & weekends boating at the lake or getting together with my friends & their kids just to hang out. I can't get this time back, so for now I just roll with things and enjoy the summer fun. :)
