~*~ New on eBay ~*~

I have a brand new dog pattern just in time for the new year. I LOVE the way this little Pug dog came out! He is so darn cute.
I've named him, "Chester", and he is all decked out in his Patriotic garb. Chester would be so cute displayed for President's Day, July 4th or any other Patriotic holiday. He would also be darling in a chippy old cupboard or displayed with your other collectibles.

~*~ A new Old & Worn Teddy on eBay ~*~

Please meet, Abigail. She is a 15" antique style bear. Abigail is made from mohair and stuffed with excelsior and gravel. I have custom dyed her a unique color, by layering the colors. She has antique shoe buttons for eyes. She is wearing an antique, wool baby's sweater. I added old ribbons and a vintage style watch fob with an antique photo inside.

Abigail is on eBay now in a 3 day auction with a Buy it Now option.

I have a new Halloween Basset Hound listed on eBay right now. Stop by and meet Count Franco.
Count Franco loves Halloween,
and is all dressed up for Tricks or Treats.
He has less than 2 days left in his auction,
so hurry over and check him out. :)

The new Winter Issue of PRIMS, I have 2 articles!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!!

I must admit, I am totally trilled with this issue of PRIMS! I dearly love this magazine. The photography and selection of art is top notch. The staff is also very friendly and easy to work with.

I have 2 very different articles in this issue. The first features some new pieces of art. I stepped away from teddy bears for a while, to work on paper clay pieces. I am so hooked on paper clay now! I was so excited with how these pieces turned out, they are so fun and whimsical. To have them featured in PRIMS is just that much more exciting. Not only do I love creating pieces of art, I have also developed a love of writing about art. Oh, and the "Whimsical Circus Characters" mentioned on the cover...that's my article! ((((big smile))))

My 2nd article in this issue is a continuation of the TDIPT(TO Dwell in Primitive Thymes) article that I wrote for the Fall 2011 issue. I had so much fun putting these 2 articles together, and the creative process involved in the writing of each. Each artist from TDIPT that participated sent in stellar work to the magazine, as you can see from the photos. I am extremely proud to have had the opportunity to showcase this talented group of women. If you have never visited our site, TDIPTmercantile.com, you must stop by. You can also follow the link located in the left hand side-bar.

I also re-posted the article that was included in the Fall 2011 issue, so everything could be viewed as a whole.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Karen :)
