~*~ Amazing Sea Creatures ~*~

Here are some more pictures from our beach trip....these are so cool! We ended up at the pier during low tide one evening. There were hundreds of sea creatures running around. It was so fun to watch them. I think we spent an hour in one little spot, just checking out the different shells crabbies and mussels were hauling around for houses.

Can you imagine being this small and trying to push your way around in the sand?

I've never seen mussels actually come out of their shells and move around. They are really strange and very sci-fi looking.

Too bad this shell already had someone calling it home. :)

~*~new Beach Bear on the TDIPT mercantile~*~

I have a new bear listed on the TDIPT mercantile right now. In honor of my beach vacation, I decided to make a beach bear. His name is "Seaside Sandy" He is made of a sparse European mohair. He wears a darling little vintage jumper & sailor hat. His trims are also vintage.
