~*~ New on eBay ~*~

I have a brand new dog pattern just in time for the new year. I LOVE the way this little Pug dog came out! He is so darn cute.
I've named him, "Chester", and he is all decked out in his Patriotic garb. Chester would be so cute displayed for President's Day, July 4th or any other Patriotic holiday. He would also be darling in a chippy old cupboard or displayed with your other collectibles.

New tonight on eBay....

Please come meet, "Colette".
Colette is one of my French Fashion bears. She is based on my love of antique dolls. I have custom dyed the mohair an orchid color. She wears a vintage child's dress. She has an antique photo attached and I stamped "Paris, France" on it.

Colette is listed in a 5 day auction, with a Buy it Now option.

If you have the time, please stop by for a peek.

~*~ new Prim Bunny Rabbit on eBay ~*~

I have a new Prim Bunny on eBay tonight. His name is "Lapin de Monsieur", which is French for "Mister Rabbit". He is 5 way jointed and all hand tinted. Lapin looks just like an old toy.
He is listed in a 5 day auction, with a Buy it Now option.

Stop by for a peek. :)

~*~Wilfred J. Bear on eBay ~*~ New Pattern~*~

I have a new little bear listed on eBay right now. He is a new pattern, and more traditional in design. I've named him Wilfred J. Bear. Wilfred is 5 way jointed, and has German glass eyes. He looks just like an old toy. He is completely hand tinted from several shades of brown/grey dyes. He has a very unique, antique look to him.

Wilfred J. Bear is listed in a 5 day auction, with a Buy it Now option. Stop by and tell him Hello. :)

~*~ New little bear on eBay ~*~ New Pattern ~*~

I have a new little bear listed on eBay tonight. His name is "Victor" and he measures 11" tall. He made from European mohair that I then totally hand tinted. He is 5 way jointed with German glass eyes. This is a new pattern.

Victor is listed in a 5 day auction, with a Buy it Now option. Stop by for a peek.

~*~ a New Bunny is on eBay ~*~

I have a new bunny rabbit listed on eBay today. His name is "HOP" and he is from my new Bunny pattern. Hop looks just like an old toy from the attic. He is made from mohair and I hand tinted all of his markings. He measures 10" tall and his ears are another 3.5". Hop is 5 way jointed.

Hop is listed in a 5 day auction, with a Buy it Now option.
Stop by for a peek...:)

~*~ New French Fashion Bear on eBay ~*~

I love to make these bears! They are just so pretty and girly. They are perfect with Shabby chic decor. :) This new bear is on eBay now...she is 10" tall and her name is "Madame Marie". Her dress is a robin's egg blue color with pink cabbage roses (LOVE!) and a fun, festive matching hat. I made her a vintage tag using a dye cut image of a young, Victorian girl.

Madame Marie is listed in a 5 day auction which will end on Sat, Feb 18th. There is also a Buy It Now option.

~*~*~*~Thanks for looking!~*~*~*~

~*~ Just thought I would share ~*~

....a custom order I finished last week. This is one of my "French Fashion Bears". She measures 15" tall and is dyed an orchid color. Her name, of course, is Miss Orchid. She has on a toile print dress with vintage lace trim. I made her a vintage tag using an antique photo. I also made her festive hat.

The new Winter Issue of PRIMS, I have 2 articles!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!!

I must admit, I am totally trilled with this issue of PRIMS! I dearly love this magazine. The photography and selection of art is top notch. The staff is also very friendly and easy to work with.

I have 2 very different articles in this issue. The first features some new pieces of art. I stepped away from teddy bears for a while, to work on paper clay pieces. I am so hooked on paper clay now! I was so excited with how these pieces turned out, they are so fun and whimsical. To have them featured in PRIMS is just that much more exciting. Not only do I love creating pieces of art, I have also developed a love of writing about art. Oh, and the "Whimsical Circus Characters" mentioned on the cover...that's my article! ((((big smile))))

My 2nd article in this issue is a continuation of the TDIPT(TO Dwell in Primitive Thymes) article that I wrote for the Fall 2011 issue. I had so much fun putting these 2 articles together, and the creative process involved in the writing of each. Each artist from TDIPT that participated sent in stellar work to the magazine, as you can see from the photos. I am extremely proud to have had the opportunity to showcase this talented group of women. If you have never visited our site, TDIPTmercantile.com, you must stop by. You can also follow the link located in the left hand side-bar.

I also re-posted the article that was included in the Fall 2011 issue, so everything could be viewed as a whole.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Karen :)
