~*~My English Bulldog is on eBay ~*~

My new Bulldog is listed on eBay now. I've named this cutie, Sweetheart. She is a Brindle looking Bulldog with lots of color layering. Sweetheart is 10" tall an created from mohair. She is wearing lots of old, droopy ribbons and I added an antique photo of her previous owner. :)))

Sweetheart is listed in a 3 day auction, with a Buy it Now.

~*~The mercantile has been update for Jan 1st.~*~

I have several new pieces listed this month....

First I have my Boxer dog Cupboard hanger.
She would be perfect for Valentine's Day or your Shabby Chic home.
You can hang her on an old chippy shelf, or on an old cupboard.
She's perfect any place.

Next is Mr Snowman.
Mr. Snowman is made from mohair and would be darling tuck away with your Winter decor.

Last I have a new, unique and whimsical piece of art.
I used an 11 x 14 canvas, painted a fun design then added glitter to highlight everything.
I securely attached one of my French Bulldog cupboard hangers to the canvas to create a unique piece of 3D art.

~*~ New Boston Terrier Tree Topper/Cupboard Sitter ~*~

I love the way this topper turned out! I designed this piece with an Americana flair, so it would fit perfect on top of a feather tree or a real tree. I made the vintage style card reversible  so you can display this piece all year long.  Such a fun, whimsical piece for your home!

Listed in a 3 day auction, with a Buy it Now option.

The new Winter Issue of PRIMS, I have 2 articles!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!!

I must admit, I am totally trilled with this issue of PRIMS! I dearly love this magazine. The photography and selection of art is top notch. The staff is also very friendly and easy to work with.

I have 2 very different articles in this issue. The first features some new pieces of art. I stepped away from teddy bears for a while, to work on paper clay pieces. I am so hooked on paper clay now! I was so excited with how these pieces turned out, they are so fun and whimsical. To have them featured in PRIMS is just that much more exciting. Not only do I love creating pieces of art, I have also developed a love of writing about art. Oh, and the "Whimsical Circus Characters" mentioned on the cover...that's my article! ((((big smile))))

My 2nd article in this issue is a continuation of the TDIPT(TO Dwell in Primitive Thymes) article that I wrote for the Fall 2011 issue. I had so much fun putting these 2 articles together, and the creative process involved in the writing of each. Each artist from TDIPT that participated sent in stellar work to the magazine, as you can see from the photos. I am extremely proud to have had the opportunity to showcase this talented group of women. If you have never visited our site, TDIPTmercantile.com, you must stop by. You can also follow the link located in the left hand side-bar.

I also re-posted the article that was included in the Fall 2011 issue, so everything could be viewed as a whole.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Karen :)
